AFC COMMENT: A threat is a threat, regardless if it comes to you in the feedback section, comments or spam. Threats are real. They’re placed on your sites to terrorize you to act on their demands. Ransom they call it. Pay us or we’ll do A-Z to you and your sites, your bank accounts and your reputation.
For those who say, ‘why would you believe these terrorists demanding money?’, I’d have to say, because they’re demanding money.
Where do they come from? Do they have accounts on WordPress? Do they really have email addresses on yahoo? Are they WordPress employees? Years ago, WordPress claimed that everybody who worked for WordPress were volunteers. Why? A billion dollar company has to hire volunteers? These people have access to all your back doors, all your content.
Is the CIA or NSA conducting social experiments on WordPress like they do on Facebook? Why pose as terrorists demanding ransom money? Just to see how WordPress bloggers respond to such threats? Is that even legal?
On 16 May 2019 I wrote to WordPress regarding restoring domains deleted in error and added: OF INTEREST:
“Recently when attempting to pay my yearly fee for 2 of my domains, very close to renewal time, a banner popped up not allowing the action of renewal saying instead, ‘This site is undergoing maintenance.
