Note the egg in the ingredient label. Who would think that a vegetatian vegetable soup would have egg in it? Eggs are not vegetables.
Eggs are currently sky-high I’m told. Companies making up for pandemic loses. I’m thinking there must be cheaper ways to thicken a soup than using eggs, pandemic or no pandemic.
This can is good till 2025. It’s now 2023. I predict switches will be made to a vegetable/fruit based thickener. It would be the smart, more economical move to make.
But hey, I’m just the animal-free chef, what do I know, except that eggs in soup sign diaster pending.
