It goes way back. Something about not getting into cars with strangers. It generalized to any type of vehicle or agenda. That’s probably why I prefer to work alone. I trust myself with myself.
Everybody has opinions and views. I don’t need to hitch a ride onto anybody else’s. I don’t seek that type of comfort in numbers. I find it suffocating and a deterrent to new ideas. But hey, that’s just me.
Or maybe it’s that hitch hiking sounds too much like hijacking.
