SMOKED PAPRIKA is the key ingredient added to animal-free recipes tasting of blood found on my animal-free websites. Other additives that enhance the smoked paprika thus the blood taste are garlic powder, dry mustard, turmeric and sea salt.

Smoked paprika is my new favorite spice. I’ve been using it in just about everything, even dessert. It’s like I’m addicted to it, and became addicted quickly. Just once – that’s all it took – and I was hooked.

Of course I buy this stuff in bulk, why wouldn’t I? I’m even considering putting it into veggie capsules and taking it as a nutrient. Nothing wrong with that. You may have noticed that I use a lot of herbs and spices in my cooking. Again, who wouldn’t? It’s not as if there’s a shortage of these powerful little foods.

Food and medicine all wrapped up in a tidy, tiny package for you to savor and enjoy – and that’s just the way I like it. Try telling my gustatory cortex and my olfactory lobes that it isn’t so.
