Another creamy cola drink. This time no cream. We create a cream within the glass instead. Only two ingredients. What’s nice about this particular drink is you can carry the instant coffee in your purse or pant pocket in a little container – don’t make it obvious. But when the servers see what you’re doing, they’ll be impressed.

Make yourself a simple treat at home or assemble it at the bar or restaurant you frequent, when you’re on one of your alcohol-free days.

Another interesting alcohol-free drink for any time of the year, but holidays are fun to show it off.

Ingredients:

1-2 rounded t. instant coffee – the brand I use is Nescafe Taster’s Choice Dark Roast.

Diet Pepsi

Instruct:

1- This is how to order when you’re out. As I said, carry the dry instant coffee with you. When you’re at the bar or restaurant, order a glass of Diet Pepsi with an extra glass.

2- Place the dry instant coffee in the bottom of the empty glass, then pour the Pepsi over the coffee a little at a time. It foams quickly, so don’t go too fast. Then as you drink the beverage, add a little more Pepsi, till it’s finally all gone.

Notes: This drink is a process, so if you’re not drinking alcohol, it keeps you busy. Plus it’s calorie-free. Plus it’s delicious. And all you pay for is the Diet Pepsi at the bar or restaurant.

Serve with a spoon.
