Fresh Vs Canned Or Frozen

Why frown at canned and frozen foods?

If fresh is best and it is, then the freshest your food is at the outset, the better for you, the healthier for you, and it’s cheaper too.

Health, not only includes vitamins and minerals, but more importantly, means free of harmful bacteria, virus and chemicals.

Consider the produce that you buy fresh at the grocery store and the produce that you buy canned or frozen.

Consider in a slightly different vein, how old the produce is when it’s finally consumed.

Canned and frozen means it’s preserved (canned or frozen, from the field).

So compare the time the produce takes to get to table between fresh and canned.

When buying fresh it’s takes a long time to get to market, that’s why fresh at the grocery store often looks bad, because it took so long to get there, and the buyer has to look at all the produce to find the best one(s).

Plus produce gets sprayed in the truck before it’s delivered to the main port, then delivery trucks pick it up, or it’s shipped by another truck to grocery stores.

The freshest food, these days is canned or frozen.
