One might think that a company like GHIRARDELLI would manufacture a high end chocolate sauce. PREMIUM. PROFESSIONAL. That’s what it says on the label.
If I wanted a cheap product that tasted and textured like glossy cocoa powder paste, I could have mixed some cocoa powder with sugar and water, heated then cooled it and used that. I wasn’t expecting a cocoa powder taste in a store bought sauce.
I would not by this product again.
In addition, it was nearly impossible to squeeze it out of the bottle, given the design. The plastic is too hard for a squeeze container and it created a mess each time I tried to use it.
Finally I threw it away, not wanting to deal with it any more.
It just didn’t measure up all the way around.
